Jack Warner
- President
Join us as we mark this monumental event to officially welcome Dr. Jack Warner as our eleventh president and celebrate ΞΆΓάΘ¦'s 170th anniversary.
ΞΆΓάΘ¦ (ΞΆΓάΘ¦) is the state's first and oldest institution of public higher education, founded in 1854. It is overseen by the President of ΞΆΓάΘ¦, who reports to the Rhode Island Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner (RIOPC).
The RIOPC is the administrative arm of the Rhode Island Council on Postsecondary Education, which provides oversight and governance for ΞΆΓάΘ¦ and the Community College of Rhode Island.
Dr. Jack R. Warner, appointed Interim President of ΞΆΓάΘ¦ on July 1, 2022, will be officially inaugurated as ΞΆΓάȦ’s 11th president on November 15, 2024. The president presides over an executive cabinet comprised of the vice presidents of various offices and divisions throughout the college, as well as other high-ranking members of the college's leadership. The Office of the President is overseen by a chief of staff.
