What is the Joint Admissions Agreement (JAA)?
The JAA is an agreement between ΞΆΓάΘ¦ and the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) that allows CCRI students to easily transfer to ΞΆΓάΘ¦. Students can begin working toward one of 23 bachelor's degrees at ΞΆΓάΘ¦ while earning their associates degree at CCRI. Although it's common for students to transfer from CCRI to ΞΆΓάΘ¦, the purpose of the JAA is to facilitate the transition from the associates degree at CCRI to the bachelor's degree at ΞΆΓάΘ¦.
Why Should I Participate?
If you enroll in the Joint Admissions Agreement between CCRI and ΞΆΓάΘ¦, and complete an associates degree from an approved CCRI program, you'll receive:
Am I Eligible?
You are eligible to apply if you have earned fewer than 30 credits at CCRI and have never attended another college or university. In order to make the transition from CCRI to ΞΆΓάΘ¦ you need to have:
- completed your approved associates degree at CCRI with a cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher
- submitted the intent to enroll form to ΞΆΓάΘ¦
- met all academic and non academic requirements for enrollment at ΞΆΓάΘ¦
Our transfer admissions team will work directly with CCRI to request your official transcript. You do not need to request your own CCRI transcript.
