Finding the Courses You'll Register for on My΢ÃÜȦ
While the undergraduate and graduate class schedules give you a sense of what is being offered and when, our My΢ÃÜȦ portal will provide you with course descriptions to help you decide what to register for. As someone who has never attended ΢ÃÜȦ before, you will need to create an account to obtain a user ID and password in order to register for classes, but you can without an account right now.
Call/Class Numbers
Call/class numbers are the five-digit number preceding each course and are very important for these reasons:
- this is the number you will need in order to register for, add, or drop a given course
- clicking on a call number will provide you with the course description
Also, if a course has multiple sections, please note the unique section number. You may not register for more than one section of a course.
Departmental Consent
Some courses require departmental consent to enroll. These courses are identified in Class Search on the Class Details page with the phrase "Department Consent Required." A course may have this designation for reasons such as: minimum grade point average, earned credits, major, or permission of department chair. Contact the offering department for registration information.
College Catalog
The contains degree requirements for all undergraduate programs of study, rules that affect students, descriptions of courses, and a list of the faculty and administration of the college. You must know the rules given in the catalog for your degree program. The catalog is the document of authority for all students.
