Dear Faculty and Marshals,

We are excited to celebrate the class of 2024 on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Amica Mutual Pavilion in downtown Providence. We are expecting over 1,000 graduates and over 8,000 family and guests to participate in this year’s ceremony. For our students, this day marks the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. We know you understand how important your attendance is at this event to show your support for the class of 2024.

Participation in Commencement

Faculty

If you wish to participate in the ceremony and be seated in the faculty section of the pavilion floor, please complete our Form for Faculty Participation in the Ceremony.

Marshals

Marshals will assist with pre-ceremony line-up of the graduating candidates for the processional, during the diploma distribution, and at the recessional. Volunteers will be required to be at the AMP on the 11 from 7:30am-1:00pm.  You will receive parking accommodations, breakfast, and a to-go lunch for your service. If you wish to participate as a Marshal, please complete our . The form will also ask you which of these training sessions you are able to attend:

  • Friday, April 19, 12:30–1:30 p.m. Gaige Auditorium
  • Friday, April 26, 12:30–1:30 p.m. Gaige Auditorium
