Campus Security Authorities
A Campus Security Authority (CSA) is an individual designated under the Clery Act who has significant responsibility for student and campus activities at an institution of higher education. CSAs include various campus personnel such as campus police/security officers, resident assistants, coaches, advisors of student organizations, and other campus officials who interact regularly with students. CSAs undergo annual training to reinforce their responsibilities and ensure they are informed and prepared to fulfill their roles effectively. CSAs are required to promptly report all crimes they become aware of to Campus Police. by calling the ΞΆΓάΘ¦ Campus Police at 401-456-8888. Alternatively, CSAs can report crimes here. The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR) mandated by the Clery Act is a document that the college must publish annually by October 1st. It includes campus crime statistics, security policies, and fire safety measures to inform and promote campus safety and compliance with federal regulations.
