The Institute for Portuguese and Lusophone World Studies (IPLWS) is designed to be a nucleus of interaction for the benefit of ΞΆΓάΘ¦ students and the larger Portuguese-speaking community of Rhode Island.
What We Do
The IPLWS is dedicated to fostering connections between the college and Lusophone communities in the region and pursuing scholarly research and cultural projects related to the Portuguese language and Lusophone cultures.

The Joseph George Ray Portuguese American Archives Endowed Fund will help support the cataloging and preservation of the collection, sponsor internship and research opportunities for ΞΆΓάΘ¦ students and support cultural events related to the collection.
