As a first-generation Mexican-American college student in long-term recovery from SUD and a proud member of the queer community, I’m driven by a deep desire to uplift underserved populations. Inspired by the support I received throughout my journey keeps me committed to being a strong advocate and ally for those navigating similar challenges. My passion for giving back fuels my ambition to create positive change, ensuring that others have the resources and encouragement they need to thrive. I graduated the BSW program at ΢ÃÜȦ this past May, and I’m currently on track to graduate with my MSW in May, 2025. I have worked at the Amos House for the past 6 years, recently being promoted to the Director of Essential Services. My role includes supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, I aim to foster an inclusive environment and aim to empower the folks being served as well as the team members I support. Most importantly I have a 10-year-old son, that is my world and inspires me to be the best version of myself I can be to show him anything is possible!
