Dr. Schuster’s teaching focuses on European social and labor history and how shifts in work processes and industrial processes in the US and Europe affected work and working-class families. She served for 13 years as Dean of Graduate Studies, supporting Ȧ’s graduate students and graduate programs. She is the director of Ȧ’s Gender and Women’s Studies program and in the summer of 2023 becomes FYS Coordinator.
